In the 11th match minute, Roceira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Borges to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Gonzalo Klusener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Perutxo came free, but Carlos Eduardo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Remo Gonçalves fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roceira SC's protests and gave Remo Gonçalves a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Roceira SC's Remo Gonçalves got a free kick in the 20th minute. TALLERES DE CBA's Serafino Firme shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carlos Eduardo Chaves but with some difficulty. Carlos Eduardo Chaves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernardo Perutxo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Roceira SC's Róbson Fantini got a free kick in the 30th minute. Richard Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Godoy in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Eduardo Chaves saved Roceira SC from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Washington dos Santos lined in a short shot 4-2 behind a frustrated Jimeno Santos. Carlos Eduardo Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Godoy in the 91st minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Remicio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roceira SC's Carlos Eduardo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Klusener in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Klusener in the 95th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
