Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guido Carrillo got the match started through his kick off. Lucio Txordon charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Txordon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Lucio Txordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Gabriel Turi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Navarro Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Omar Erez hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Zelaya came free, but Tautvydas Mickevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Santamaria was slow to take the kick. During this time GuateFortín's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on GuateFortín's corner Abraham Santamaria fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tautvydas Mickevičius quite easily take care of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Juan José Ferraro came free, but Tautvydas Mickevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alonso Villacorta hit a great ball. Gabriel Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Carlos Navarro Montoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GuateFortín's Carlos Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Txomin in the 39th minute of play. Mateo Terciero charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Terciero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Mateo Terciero got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Douglas Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Terciero was the one to do the kick off. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Tautvydas Mickevičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Carrillo came free, but Carlos Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Turi in the 58th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Carlos Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Carrillo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Carlos Navarro Montoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA. GuateFortín's Miguel Ángel Reguera was substituted for Juan José Ferraro. GuateFortín made a substitution. Victor Valenzuela replaced Patricio Alvarado. GuateFortín made a substitution. Ezequiel Peruanton replaced Milton Umaña. After 65 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Bonilla. Abraham Santamaria kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Ezequiel Peruanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Miguel Ángel Reguera made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tautvydas Mickevičius was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Carrillo in the 79th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Carlos Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Ángel Reguera in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tautvydas Mickevičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Miguel Ángel Reguera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Tautvydas Mickevičius did a great save. Tautvydas Mickevičius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Ángel Reguera's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Carlos Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Carrillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after GuateFortín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guido Carrillo took the corner. Neither ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA or GuateFortín succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Guido Carrillo made the kick off and play began. In the 103rd minute Miguel Ángel Reguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tautvydas Mickevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the GuateFortín defense, Guido Carrillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Navarro Montoya. The GuateFortín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Navarro Montoya should have stopped the shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
