Neither Schmeissen FC or Black Rose 1979 succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

The Schmeissen FC players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Urban Kellberg took the kick off. In the 119th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Baldomero Guillem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Schmeissen FC's attentive Wictor Adelsköld managed to snatch the ball when Gonza Montiel made a throw-in in the 121st minute of the game. Jimmie Bergström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Llope in the 124th minute of the match. Black Rose 1979's Baldomero Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Kellberg in the 125th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 143 minutes, Black Rose 1979's Orlando Rudolfo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jimmie Bergström. Baldomero Guillem had in the 148thth minute some difficulties stopping Enzo-Nicolás Pérez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Black Rose 1979's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
