The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isidoro Fontoura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Bikendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Semeno got free with Isidoro Fontoura in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Bikendi in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Fontoura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Silvestre Salazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC Dezassete's Isidoro Fontoura got control of the ball when Alfonso Bikendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Alfonso Bikendi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Alfonso Bikendi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Isidoro Fontoura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alcides Valadares scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Vassenius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Luís Ekaterinoslavskiy threw the ball into play from the sideline. RB Chubut's Ezequiel Rutenio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Isidoro Fontoura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Heli, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Gatis Caca-Rato fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dezassete's protests and gave Gatis Caca-Rato a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes FC Dezassete got a freekick which was hit by Gatis Caca-Rato. Alfonso Bikendi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidoro Fontoura came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfonso Bikendi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 42nd minute. If Alfonso Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Dezassete's Isidoro Fontoura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Bikendi in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

RB Chubut's Lázaro Quico was substituted for Adrian Cristos. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alcides Valadares made a kick off. Isidoro Fontoura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Bikendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the game, RB Chubut's Alfonso Bikendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RB Chubut fully deserved thier win.
