The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Ján Kortiš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Oidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Kuzmány came free, but Alvaro Oidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Kukova's Václav Židek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kukova from getting a goal against them. Leandro Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Alvaro Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Kuzmány in the 11th minute of play. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Alvaro Oidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ľubomír Pittner in the 14th minute of play. Alvaro Oidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ján Kortiš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Oidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ľubomír Pittner in the 24th minute of the match. Fausto Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Alvaro Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ján Kortiš in the 26th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Ján Kortiš got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvaro Oidor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Atilano Chesus fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's protests and gave Atilano Chesus a yellow card for diving instead. Václav Židek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Rolado in the 35th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ján Kortiš to make the kick off. Atilano Chesus got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Alvaro Oidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save ARedonditos de Ricota CFK from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Oidor was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Ľubomír Pittner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ľubomír Pittner really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Baldomero Rolado scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Václav Židek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Alvaro Oidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save ARedonditos de Ricota CFK from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Oidor made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ján Kortiš sent off a good shot on target. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Esteve Gimenez was substituted for Leandro Izotz. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK made a substitution. Maximiliano Argina replaced Fausto Montes. A collision led to ARedonditos de Ricota CFK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Fausto Montes hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC Kukova defense, Benjamin Piorno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Václav Židek. The FC Kukova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Václav Židek should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Piorno in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Václav Židek saved FC Kukova from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's zone, Miroslav Kuzmány stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Oidor came out of the goal and Miroslav Kuzmány tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 minutes FC Kukova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julio Dubardo who took care of the corner kick. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Julio Dubardo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Václav Židek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A very nice done corner allowed Benjamin Piorno to score against Václav Židek in FC Kukova's goal. 3-1 after 100 minutes.

The ARedonditos de Ricota CFK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
