When Quentin Willmott fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HIT Gorica's protests and gave Quentin Willmott a yellow card for diving instead. Quentin Willmott kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a little luck, HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur got control of the ball when Yago Polanco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Xzavion Bustos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konstantin Pančur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Areta, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Taltum FC's Piero Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duško Turnšek in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Taltum FC defense, Zlatko Goričan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Piero Kahn. The Taltum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Piero Kahn should have stopped the shot. Piero Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duško Turnšek in the 37th minute of play. Xzavion Bustos's late challenge caught a HIT Gorica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xzavion Bustos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Taltum FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Xzavion Bustos hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzavion Bustos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Istok Šabotić managed to get in a good position for a shot. HIT Gorica's supporters rose to their feet, but Istok Šabotić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piero Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Piero Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brite McCready in the 70th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Marquez Doñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Pančur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Xzavion Bustos hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Piero Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Zdrojewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquez Doñez in the 84th minute of play. Istok Šabotić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Piero Kahn made a huge save. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xzavion Bustos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Istok Šabotić got free with Piero Kahn in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taltum FC were furious when Rodriguez Muñio was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Taltum FC! The goalkeeper, Piero Kahn, was totally fooled by HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

HIT Gorica's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
