Eugenio Laincera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Ekblom in the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Sjögren in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Laincera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 minutes, Kim Kruse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vykans Vikingar and the Ornopata players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Kim Kruse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Laincera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Kruse in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Gonzales Subijana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ornopata's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzales Subijana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Sundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Urbez Naveros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mats Sundberg. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Mats Sundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carnero Arramendia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Erik Ring. Mats Sundberg made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Gonzales Subijana sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Mats Sundberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carnero Arramendia. Urbez Naveros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mats Sundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Laincera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Stenqvist in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Kim Kruse got a free kick in the 37th minute. Eugenio Laincera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Stenqvist in the 47th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Carnero Arramendia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ornopata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vykans Vikingar the free kick. Carnero Arramendia hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Torbjörn Ekblom made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Laincera. Ornopata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carnero Arramendia to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torbjörn Ekblom got free with Eugenio Laincera in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Folke Örnberg got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Knut Stenqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kim Kruse lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 62 minutes into the game, one of Vykans Vikingar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Viktor Nyman got a free kick in the 69th minute. William Enebro scored 3-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Sundberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mats Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vennancio Feyjo in the 80th minute of play. Urbez Naveros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mats Sundberg having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Torbjörn Ekblom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vykans Vikingar's supporters rose to their feet, but Torbjörn Ekblom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eugenio Laincera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
