Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Krstović came free, but Dominic Urbina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominic Urbina came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović. But to his dismay, Nikola Krstović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. AFK Petržalka's Hami Tükel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Etxeberri Fresnos in the 7 minute of the game. AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pacho Bouzas charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pacho Bouzas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AFK Petržalka booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pacho Bouzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominic Urbina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Krstović, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominic Urbina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tim Hebel made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Felip Japón sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikola Krstović in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominic Urbina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nikola Krstović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominic Urbina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Dominic Urbina came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović. But to his dismay, Nikola Krstović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Felip Japón 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. A.D. Alcorcón's Dominic Urbina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Krstović in the 37th minute of play. When AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.D. Alcorcón's goalie prevented a goal. After 42 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominic Urbina was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in A.D. Alcorcón's zone, Nikola Krstović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominic Urbina came out of the goal and Nikola Krstović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikola Krstović to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Etxeberri Fresnos. 56 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Arenas came free, but Tim Hebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Nikola Krstović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFK Petržalka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikola Krstović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Nikola Krstović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dominic Urbina was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. In the 64th minute, Felip Japón left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D. Alcorcón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. After 68 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović made it 2-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominic Urbina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dominic Urbina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Krstović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović made it 2-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominic Urbina was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the game, Nikola Krstović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dominic Urbina. Nikola Krstović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-10. Dominic Urbina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Krstović, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Angelo Arenas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tim Hebel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-10. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Dominic Urbina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 91st minute of the match Etxeberri Fresnos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Etxeberri Fresnos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Etxeberri Fresnos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Saverio Alfaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
AFK Petržalka's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
