Witold Pietras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 25th minute of play forced Mariolo's goalkeeper Eufrasio Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eufrasio Vall was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 28th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufrasio Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Facundo Cadaval struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Eufrasio Vall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Mariolo's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Eufrasio Vall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Eufrasio Vall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Facundo Cadaval was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umea Loza in the 44th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Frederico Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Mariolo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

Mariolo's Witold Pietras couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mexico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umea Loza in the 81st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 85th minute of play forced Mariolo's goalkeeper Eufrasio Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Facundo Cadaval notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eufrasio Vall quite easily take care of the ball.
