Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Calaflores FC.'s Gaskon Rubio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. After 13 minutes of play, Calaflores FC.'s Gaskon Rubio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute of the match, Coronel Paredes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd minute Dionisio Zubizarreta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Zubizarreta. 32 minutes into the game, Coronel Paredes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Coronel Paredes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 35 minutes into the match, Calaflores FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Víctor Valdés reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute of the game Alphonso Davies made a throw-in which Barros Cifuentes played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Paredes in the 38th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Dionisio Zubizarreta sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Coronel Paredes made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Víctor Valdés in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Zubizarreta's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Jonathan Ferrant - 3-0 was put on the score board in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaskon Rubio went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Víctor Valdés took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. 76 minutes into the game, Manuel Zubiaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Coronel Paredes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coronel Paredes in the 81st minute of play. Víctor Valdés showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
