Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Shankar Linyu came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 15 played minutes Carboncito FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Hechter. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shankar Linyu having to make a save. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Shankar Linyu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Carboncito FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shankar Linyu. The Carboncito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shankar Linyu should have stopped the shot. Shankar Linyu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carboncito FC's goalkeeper Shankar Linyu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Carboncito FC's Lorenzo Justin got a free kick in the 46th minute. Carboncito FC's Shankar Linyu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play. Shankar Linyu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Barros in the 53rd minute of the match. Shankar Linyu made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Gavino Senon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. A collision led to Carboncito FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lorenzo Justin hit a great ball. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shankar Linyu having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Carboncito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Osoitz to maneuver through the defense. Carboncito FC's Shankar Linyu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shankar Linyu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Carboncito FC's Shankar Linyu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Damaso Orti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shankar Linyu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 90th minute. The supporters of Carboncito FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Osoitz in the 95th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Senon in the 97th minute of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
