Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 3 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Almiron in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thiago Pliego was a little too slow when Matias Maties got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 20th minute of play forced Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Baltasar Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Sancho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Victorio Jax in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thiago Pliego, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Matias Maties put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Chile's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Americo Florinio 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. In the 39thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafael Márquez kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Sacro Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Márquez. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Almiron was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Baltasar Sancho in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Miguel Almiron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sacro Balompié's Isidoro Izel was substituted for Americo Florinio. Sacro Balompié made a substitution. Marciano Leobardo replaced Hermengildo Mazuste. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Sancho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baltasar Sancho came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Lacasa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Peto in the 70th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Apolo Peto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baltasar Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Miguel Almiron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Lacasa made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 83rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Baltasar Sancho would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Peto in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 90 minutes, Miguel Almiron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacro Balompié's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Almiron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
