Emanuel Phelipe came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rolando Noboa could save by the left post. Club Real Cantera's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Phelipe in the 28th minute. If Emanuel Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Phelipe got free with Rolando Noboa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Phelipe in the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes. Club Real Cantera made a substitution. Arturo Duro replaced Victorio Mosen. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Club Real Cantera's Silverio Gaxan was substituted for Agustin Lain. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Arturo Duro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Club Real Cantera made a substitution. Sergio Maraman replaced Fabricio Ugutz. After a rather tough play, Club Real Cantera's Arturo Duro got a free kick in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Rafael Gallo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Gaudencio Frichoso to make any attempt to save it. The Club Real Cantera fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
