An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavian Soare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 23rd match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Manolescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Covataru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavian Soare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Claudiu Manolescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 42nd minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. After 44 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Zdrobiş. In the 45th minute, Luz Tejedor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare didn't even have to move. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Octavian Soare in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ianis Man in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ianis Man in the 65th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ianis Man came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Galati Harbour Cats made a substitution. Sven-Åke Ré replaced Ovidiu Pandrea. Galati Harbour Cats's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dan Petrescu in the 70th minute. At last the ball reached Ianis Man at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Peru. 1-0. Mo Yuan Fan kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Sven-Åke Ré got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ianis Man. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Antoni Dembkowski made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 85th minute of the match, Rafael Gallo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Octavian Soare saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Octavian Soare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 90th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Dembkowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Covataru to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Octavian Soare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
