Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Jonas Messias fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AÇAÍ SA's protests and gave Jonas Messias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, AÇAÍ SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Messias to maneuver through the defense. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of play. In the 8th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aquiles Papo in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabirel Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Aquiles Papo sent off a good shot on target. AÇAÍ SA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dino Siqueira in the 19th minute. Dino Siqueira made a great header on AÇAÍ SA's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 22nd minute of the match AÇAÍ SA got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dino Siqueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dino Siqueira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. AÇAÍ SA's Hendrik-Jan Brugmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gabirel Jesus 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Gabirel Jesus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 48th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik-Jan Brugmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

52 minutes into the match, Gabirel Jesus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabirel Jesus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 56 minutes into the game, Gabirel Jesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dino Siqueira during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when AÇAÍ SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabirel Jesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hendrik-Jan Brugmans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Dino Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabirel Jesus in the 86th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that AÇAÍ SA were the better team. AÇAÍ SA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
