Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tallia Incera in the 3rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tallia Incera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tallia Incera. Jago Urquijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of C.A. Husky booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Tallia Incera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo Caires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajar Indrekson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Jago Urquijo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 34th minute. Jago Urquijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macos Graciani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jago Urquijo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 42nd minute, Shahron Seah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the game, William Jespersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Husky's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. William Jespersson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tallia Incera was the one to do the kick off. C.A. Husky's Jago Urquijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the C.A. Husky defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jago Urquijo. The C.A. Husky fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jago Urquijo should have stopped the shot. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jago Urquijo having to make a save. Jago Urquijo made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. Husky's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A. Husky's Jago Urquijo did a great save. 74 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Jago Urquijo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tallia Incera in the 77th minute of play. Jago Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Tallia Incera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. C.A. Husky made a substitution. Marcos Azofra replaced William Jespersson. Jago Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 96th minute of play.
