Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Norberto Villegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Geovani Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Geovani Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match, Silviu Miclea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Noia's Geovani Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Silviu Miclea sent off a good shot on target. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovani Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Geovani Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovani Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geovani Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Velloso having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Noia got a freekick which was hit by Manole Creangă. With a little luck, Noia's Geovani Velloso got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Silviu Miclea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Geovani Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Villegas in the 77th minute of play. Saverio Amor hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Miclea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovani Velloso was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-4. In a very dangerous position, a player in Noia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Noia.
