With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Barry Houghton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Zach Harrison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zach Harrison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Zacarias Sesimbra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Zacarias Sesimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Barry Houghton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 30 minutes into the match, Dragonf⮊rcE's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Zacarias Sesimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassius Byrne scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Sesimbra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacarias Sesimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Koby Fletcher. Edward Mcdonald scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Sesimbra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zacarias Sesimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barry Houghton was the one to do the kick off. Zacarias Sesimbra made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Zach Harrison sent off a good shot on target. Zacarias Sesimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Dragonf⮊rcE's Ludo Tobbackers was substituted for Herman Dresselbjerg. When Ludo Tobbackers fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragonf⮊rcE's protests and gave Ludo Tobbackers a yellow card for diving instead. Ludo Tobbackers kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 78th minute of play forced Dragonf⮊rcE's goalkeeper Zacarias Sesimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Khalid Parry came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khalid Parry couldn't finish the play.
