If Oscar Arevalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gorgory's Guillermo Marz got a free kick in the 6th minute. Oscar Arevalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 15 minutes of play, Gorgory's Higinio Valiente made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dan Benet charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Benet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dan Benet hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Oscar Arevalo made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Abel Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play. Oscar Arevalo in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Gorgory made a substitution. Elroy Snijders replaced Oscar Arevalo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. A.J. 谢义义 charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed A.J. 谢义义 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Gorgory got a freekick which was hit by A.J. 谢义义. In the 54th minute, Elroy Snijders made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 57th match minute, Gorgory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Ecobescu to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 62nd minute of play forced Gorgory's goalkeeper Abel Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elroy Snijders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Araoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Guillermo Marz kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Gorgory booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Elroy Snijders put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
