In the 14th match minute, Tiburones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Garaile to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Tiburones's Amado Domenec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Tiburones's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Victorino Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Olayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Manuel Bero made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zeledon Rito. In the 41st match minute, Tiburones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Naldo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Honduras booed when Tiburones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Indartsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amado Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Domenec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Ocampo's late challenge caught a Tiburones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Ocampo helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorino Olayo having to make a save. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Manuel Bero made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Domenec came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match Tiburones got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delmiro Mingo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Honduras booed when Tiburones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Amado Domenec put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tiburones had won, even though Honduras had held more of the ball.
