After 30 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serbülent Baysan was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Serbülent Baysan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Vitaliy Fedchenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Peake in the 51st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serbülent Baysan. That made the score 2-2 after 56 minutes of play. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Anderlecht Huachipato made a substitution. Eufemio Ehijo replaced Vitaliy Fedchenko. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Felix Txilar was substituted for Maximino Astudillo. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Alberto-Federico Acosta was substituted for Baumar Ontanilla. Serbülent Baysan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Felix Txilar managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Txilar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Txilar went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Mexico booed when FC Anderlecht Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Txilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto-Federico Acosta in the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when FC Anderlecht Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Txilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Serbülent Baysan managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Peake in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to FC Anderlecht Huachipato getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Stojan Krhan hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Joel Gaona in the 95th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Serbülent Baysan's left hand side. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
