In the 6th minute Matías Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Angelsø in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Manuel Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izaltina FAD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benito Lain in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Well-Well Waack got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 20th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Angelsø in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 26th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Joshua Garrido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Well-Well Waack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaido Lilleorg lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Izaltina FAD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Manuel Alves had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Montenegro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 41st minute of play. Pascual Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Salvino came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Well-Well Waack made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Well-Well Waack in the 95th minute of play. When William Angelsø came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Izaltina FAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Angelsø couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
