Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dionisio Guter kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Guter in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Guter in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Globalización's Dionisio Guter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 32 minutes into the game, Dionisio Guter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kang Ke Zhen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Globalización's Edelmiro Reno was substituted for Alejandro Ascencio. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Frascuelo having to interfere. A collision led to Globalización getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Luisito Tiadoro hit a great ball. When Artemio Urbasa came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Globalización fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Urbasa couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Frascuelo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Dante Frascuelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Artemio Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Frascuelo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 80 minutes, Kang Ke Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Globalización's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kang Ke Zhen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho, in the 84th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Dante Frascuelo made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th match minute, Globalización was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. Kang Ke Zhen hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Globalización players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
