Denílson Ronaldinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Chupan Moco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Thiago Pliego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denílson Ronaldinho in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Denílson Ronaldinho sent off a good shot on target. Simon Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of La Armada Buscapina's Chupan Moco. Chupan Moco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
