Sefa Yahya was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Sefa Yahya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the HORIZZONT defense, Maximiliano Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sefa Yahya. The HORIZZONT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sefa Yahya should have stopped the shot. Özgür Olcay kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. During the 34th minute of the match Nihat Kazanhan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nihat Kazanhan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to HORIZZONT getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Nihat Kazanhan hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Jaime Cazalla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sefa Yahya skillfully saved the ball. 37 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Franco came free, but Sefa Yahya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Camilo Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sefa Yahya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sefa Yahya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. When Aybar Savaş fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HORIZZONT's protests and gave Aybar Savaş a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Aybar Savaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the HORIZZONT defense, Alberto Gisbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sefa Yahya. The HORIZZONT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sefa Yahya should have stopped the shot. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Sefa Yahya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 63rd minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sefa Yahya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano scored 0-5 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sefa Yahya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Sefa Yahya in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The tension between the Uruguay and the HORIZZONT players grew even worse after the yellow card.
