Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Ronaldinho came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Ronaldinho in the 8th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Ronaldinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esteban Cambiasso who took care of the corner kick. 17 minutes into the game, Denílson Ronaldinho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Denílson Ronaldinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 19 minutes, Denílson Ronaldinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Armada Buscapina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denílson Ronaldinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, La Armada Buscapina's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Chupan Moco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chupan Moco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 27th minute of play. Chupan Moco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. La Armada Buscapina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Kevin Mastache fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chupan Moco quite easily take care of the ball. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by La Armada Buscapina's Denílson Ronaldinho. But to his dismay, Denílson Ronaldinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denílson Ronaldinho made a kick off. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Ronaldinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esteban Cambiasso who took care of the corner kick. The corner led La Armada Buscapina's Esteban Cambiasso to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Ronaldinho in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the La Armada Buscapina defense, Santino Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chupan Moco. The La Armada Buscapina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chupan Moco should have stopped the shot. Chupan Moco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes in the game Luis Cazalla did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kevin Mastache. A hard shot 72 in the game by Abram Secada from a close distance when the talented Chupan Moco managed to make a qualified save. La Armada Buscapina's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denílson Ronaldinho in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Abram Secada reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chupan Moco. The goal made the score 2-2. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Ronaldinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. La Armada Buscapina's Chupan Moco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save La Armada Buscapina from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the La Armada Buscapina defense, Abram Secada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chupan Moco. The La Armada Buscapina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chupan Moco should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Luis Cazalla in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Armada Buscapina's Candido Ibañez. In the 94th minute, Denílson Ronaldinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Denílson Ronaldinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Denílson Ronaldinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
