The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xander Goos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Xander Goos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Tarrasque Voador F.C. defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xander Goos. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xander Goos should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Xander Goos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xander Goos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Xander Goos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Leite came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Xander Goos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Peru's Xander Goos threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Xander Goos made a huge save. Julian Murillo in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xander Goos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tarrasque Voador F.C. made a substitution. Raphael Veiga replaced Ferdinand Aanuţei. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Christian Motta was substituted for Dedê Paraibano. The throw-in from Moises Gayoso in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Cosmin Enigărescu. The supporters of Peru booed when Tarrasque Voador F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lionel-Andrés Messi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. In the 89thth minute of the game Rafael Gallo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Xander Goos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Xander Goos made a huge save. Xander Goos came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Rafael Gallo. But to his dismay, Rafael Gallo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
