Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Lauro Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 7th minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauro Moreira got free with Dante Lacasa in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Lauro Moreira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Mexico booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Eate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Club Atletico Chusca's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lauro Moreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Lauro Moreira took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Aristides Santo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Serafin Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Lauro Moreira sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 47th minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Serafin Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 58th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Club Atletico Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Neno Lehchanski. The supporters of Mexico booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neno Lehchanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atletico Chusca's Alberto Confesor was substituted for Herman Arvidsson. In the 70th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Club Atletico Chusca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Luca Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serafin Eate quite easily take care of the ball. Lauro Moreira took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Lauro Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Club Atletico Chusca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Moreira couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Neno Lehchanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafin Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Chusca's Folke Överman got a free kick in the 90th minute. Serafin Eate made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
