In the 9th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauro Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lauro Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Eate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Lauro Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Lauro Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Serafin Eate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Serafin Eate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 51st minute. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Chusca defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Eate. The Club Atletico Chusca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Eate should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate. Serafin Eate was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lauro Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauro Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to Club Atletico Chusca getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lauro Moreira hit a great ball. Club Atletico Chusca made a substitution. Leonardo Gumaro replaced Baldomero Montae. In the 65th match minute, Club Atletico Chusca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Moreira to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. After 72 minutes of play, Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Atletico Chusca's attentive Neno Lehchanski managed to snatch the ball when Felix Garrido made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Moreira in the 90th minute of the match. The Club Atletico Chusca fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chile were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
