The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card for diving instead. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Placido Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Tono hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Hugo Dabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Hugo Dabi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Hugo Dabi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s Emilio Cordarius fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 38 in the game by Emilio Cordarius from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Emilio Cordarius put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 44th play minute Placido Astudillo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Costa was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Villa Martelli Soc. Fom. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villa Martelli Soc. Fom. made a substitution. Ulises Rico replaced Erubiel Quinton. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Cordarius in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Natalio Tono charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Tono the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Villa Martelli Soc. Fom. made a substitution. Lucio Cutberto replaced Placido Astudillo. In the 75th minute, one of Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.. Haroldo Ado had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 89th minute Joshua Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Ulises Rico sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
