Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kris Wisanggeni took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Till Slesinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play forced Real Brasília FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Victor Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Victor Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Brasília FC - DMZ's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Carneiro came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Brasília FC - DMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Victor Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Victor Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Brasília FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Victor Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Wisanggeni in the 34th minute of play. Victor Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Wisanggeni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Wisanggeni in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Romelio Lukaku left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Brasília FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Kris Wisanggeni made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romelio Lukaku in the 58th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Romelio Lukaku made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 69 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Wisanggeni in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romelio Lukaku in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romelio Lukaku in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Pierrot Uyttebroeck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Romelio Lukaku got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edu Mendes's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edu Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Victor Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Pierrot Uyttebroeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Victor Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Victor Carneiro got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Luis Andino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Victor Carneiro but with some difficulty. Kris Wisanggeni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Brasília FC - DMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
