In the 6th minute, Edmund Kempka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Formerio came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Formerio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jacobo Nores 13 minutes into the match. Hilario FC's Cristian Tallia managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Diego Tenorio in the 18 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelino Formerio in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Formerio came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavier Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelino Formerio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacobo Nores. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Formerio in the 35th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Formerio in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Hilario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Tallia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Eskuin made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Raul Venegas. In the 44th match minute, Hilario FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Maraman to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to Hilario FC's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Primitivo Escribano tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Gianluigi Donnarumma seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. Paraguay were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Hilario FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Pardo took the corner. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelino Formerio to make the kick off. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Kempka in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Edmund Kempka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Hilario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Tallia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Severo Laurentzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hilario FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Formerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Severo Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmund Kempka went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Formerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Hilario FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Jaime Pardo scored to the left of an out of position Gianluigi Donnarumma, making the score, 6-1. After 83 minutes, Marcelino Formerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hilario FC and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcelino Formerio kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hilario FC's Marcelino Formerio got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 88 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. Edmund Kempka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hilario FC the free kick. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hilario FC.
