The audience was convinced that Morten Langørgen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Aybars Çokman could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Marco Day however easily saved by the left post. In the 36th minute, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Morten Langørgen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Day. Marco Day yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Morten Langørgen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Yunus-Emre Balcik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Rodrigues in the 88th minute of the match. Yunus-Emre Balcik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's zone, Marco Baker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yunus-Emre Balcik came out of the goal and Marco Baker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yunus-Emre Balcik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Baker went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
