Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Holger Lindqvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Hammarby IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Dahlgren to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarby IF's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Sikström came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Holger Lindqvist scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. After 12 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Hammarby IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Holger Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Hammarby IF's Holger Lindqvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 21st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Dan Sikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Hammarby IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. When Hammarby IF's Pontus Åhman in 31 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jonathan Ferrant guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Holger Lindqvist sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Lindqvist in the 36th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Lindqvist in the 39th minute of the match. Hammarby IF's Holger Lindqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Hammarby IF's Allan Hedström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Sebastian Dahlgren hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hammarby IF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Lindqvist in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Billock came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Lindqvist in the 64th minute of the match. Hammarby IF's Jan Billock got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Dan Sikström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes, Hammarby IF's Inge Valler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hammarby IF reached it. In the game's 78th minute Hammarby IF's Inge Valler took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant and thus the score was 4-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Lindqvist in the 84th minute of play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Holger Lindqvist went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Hammarby IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
