When Júlio Furche fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's protests and gave Júlio Furche a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Flavio Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Adalberto Pirani in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. Lautaro Navarro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pedrinho Madureira. The crowd rose to their feet as Júlio Furche kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 1-2 in the 33 minute of play. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Júlio Furche capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Júlio Furche really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Adalberto Pirani made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gualter Aparecido however managed to control. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Paulinho Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Christiano Albuquerque made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Júlio Furche got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Honduras booed when THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Furche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adalberto Pirani made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gualter Aparecido immediately put the ball in play. In the 71stth minute of the game Sebastian Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Paulinho Viana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Adalberto Pirani in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. 74 minutes into the match, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Paulinho Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Flavio Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 minutes, Christiano Albuquerque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Christiano Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Adalberto Pirani made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Edmundo Espiga scored to the left of an out of position Paulinho Viana, making the score, 3-3. Honduras were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
