İdris Demir kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 5th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Claudio Quiroga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Claudio Quiroga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apostol Sokolov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudio Quiroga struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monitor Huáscar. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. İdris Demir hit a great ball. Apostol Sokolov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play. Carlos Galván got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Claudio Quiroga. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Claudio Quiroga in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolando Noboa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of play. Johnny Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 52nd play minutes Julian Murillo shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Apostol Sokolov and just under the crossbar into goal. Apostol Sokolov didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Peru's Julian Murillo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Luz Tejedor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apostol Sokolov having to make a save. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Anthony Alvarado hit a great ball. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Quiroga's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Julian Murillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Apostol Sokolov. The goal made the score 1-3. Apostol Sokolov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 85th minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Apostol Sokolov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apostol Sokolov was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Apostol Sokolov. Apostol Sokolov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Monitor Huáscar.
