After a rather tough play, The Potters's Paulo Piretti got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jonathan Sammuts short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Wladimir Vinthen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 10 minutes into the match, The Potters's goalkeeper Wladimir Vinthen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Sammut. 11 minutes into the game, Jonathan Sammut cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Wladimir Vinthen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wladimir Vinthen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Staffan Apelqvist in the 13th minute. Wladimir Vinthen was a little too slow when Jonathan Sammut got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, The Potters's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Sammut came free, but Wladimir Vinthen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jonathan Sammut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Sammut came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wladimir Vinthen could save by the left post. In the 30th match minute, Templars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Apelqvist to maneuver through the defense. Wladimir Vinthen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 36 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedict Cumberbatch. Jonathan Sammut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Wladimir Vinthen made a huge save. Jonathan Sammut's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Wladimir Vinthen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. André Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertel Methling, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Langoni in the 47th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper André Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The wind increased when Luca Langoni made the kick off in the second half. Wladimir Vinthen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 51st minute of play. Jonathan Sammut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wladimir Vinthen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goalkeeper André Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luca Langoni. After 56 played minutes The Potters got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Piretti. In the 57th minute, Paulo Piretti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wladimir Vinthen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Apelqvist in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Jonathan Sammut put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wladimir Vinthen. In the 72nd minute, Jonathan Sammut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Templars FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Sammut in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wladimir Vinthen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Franck Parfelt hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, Jonathan Sammut cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Wladimir Vinthen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wladimir Vinthen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Sammut went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Wladimir Vinthen came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Templars FC's Jonathan Sammut. But to his dismay, Jonathan Sammut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Jonathan Sammut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wladimir Vinthen having to make a save. Wladimir Vinthen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Ritchie Engelborgh. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Langoni got free with André Courtois in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franck Parfelt came free, but André Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Langoni in the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Jonathan Sammut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Sammut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wladimir Vinthen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wladimir Vinthen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Templars FC could leave the field as winners, despite The Potters having more of the ball for most of the match.
