The corner ended in Lawrence Buontempo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Potters's Wladimir Vinthen did a great save. The audience was convinced that Márk Kovács's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wladimir Vinthen was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Templars FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Staffan Apelqvist in the 20th minute. André Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franck Parfelt in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Templars FC's Márk Kovács nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márk Kovács to make the kick off. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Ingvar Ostersen with Luca Langoni as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. André Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Langoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Langoni in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Courtois saved Templars FC from getting behind. Wladimir Vinthen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 83rd minute of the match. Templars FC's Jonathan Sammut got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, The Potters's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Sammut came free, but Wladimir Vinthen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franck Parfelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wladimir Vinthen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Potters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adelino Marques was slow to take the kick. During this time Templars FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Templars FC's Adelino Marques to fire away a dangerous shot which Wladimir Vinthen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonathan Sammut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wladimir Vinthen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Templars FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
