Valer Bălășoiu's late challenge caught a Moura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valer Bălășoiu helped the player get up and apologised. Valer Bălășoiu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Radomir Tomiczek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Moura's Chico Pinho did a great save. Vinicio Felipo made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ricardinho Jacinto sent off a good shot on target. Chico Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Playo in the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valer Bălășoiu in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chico Pinho saved Moura from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Moura's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Bălășoiu came free, but Chico Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Felipo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frederick Salms in the 30th minute. Vinicio Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clayton Gamarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Valer Bălășoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Pinho. Moura's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valer Bălășoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Moura getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ricardinho Jacinto hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Valer Bălășoiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Chico Pinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thiago de Toledo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Radomir Tomiczek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chico Pinho. Moura's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The EL CERVECERO F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Valer Bălășoiu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vinicio Felipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Niceto Ranolfo was substituted for Valer Bălășoiu. After 67 played minutes Moura got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Jacinto. If Niceto Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. With his leg Chico Pinho managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Niceto Ranolfo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Niceto Ranolfo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Chico Pinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 83rd minute of the match, Ernesto Playo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chico Pinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Jacinto in the 85th minute of play forced EL CERVECERO F.C.'s goalkeeper Vinicio Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Thiago de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Niceto Ranolfo could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Chico Pinho however easily saved by the left post. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Vinicio Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Jacinto in the 95th minute of play. The EL CERVECERO F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing EL CERVECERO F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
