The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 20thth minute of the game Xande Cavani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Teofilio Lorca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barbaros Bozbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Villamarin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 30th minute, Liu Feng Zhen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Leones FC made a substitution. Oriol Loyola replaced García Galego. Leones FC's Urtats Figueruel was substituted for Teofilio Lorca. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xande Cavani was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Eusebio Ecija was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leones FC the free kick. Eusebio Ecija kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Urtats Figueruel sped through VERDOLAGA CITY FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Barbaros Bozbey. Barbaros Bozbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oriol Loyola in the 68th minute of the match.
