Club Ibiza's Tomás Orlanda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emiliano Saron in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 6th minute, Vebjørn Waaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joakim Back in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Higuita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, Valle Saron's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Fonso came free, but Emiliano Saron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Back in the 16th minute of play forced Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Rene Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Brian Chaverri with Pepito Saron as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Club Ibiza's Cacey 武磊 got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes of play, Valle Saron's Gianfranco Saron made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Higuita was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Bruno Fonso took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Emiliano Saron to make any attempt to save it. In the 31st minute, Gianfranco Saron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Higuita was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Bruno Fonso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Saron having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Fonso in the 34th minute of play forced Valle Saron's goalkeeper Emiliano Saron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vebjørn Waaler made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Valle Saron's Gringo Saron. Bruno Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emiliano Saron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Bruno Fonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Emiliano Saron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Ştefan Vornicescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Saron having to interfere. Rene Higuita made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Gianfranco Saron sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Bruno Fonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Saron was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Valle Saron's Joshua Saron was substituted for Gringo Saron. Valle Saron's Arí Saron was substituted for Gianfranco Saron. Club Ibiza's Kazuo Koriotto was substituted for Bruno Fonso. After 63 played minutes Valle Saron got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Dean. In the 72nd minute, Kazuo Koriotto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valle Saron's Emiliano Saron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolfgang Zufferey in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arí Saron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Higuita was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Emiliano Saron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kazuo Koriotto's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes Club Ibiza got a freekick which was hit by Kazuo Koriotto. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Ibiza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Valle Saron had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
