The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Patrik Øskan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Tingelholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, San Felice a Ema U.L.'s goalkeeper Bruno Antognoni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xacintu Ribeiro. 26 minutes into the game, Xacintu Ribeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Antognoni. Xacintu Ribeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Bernd Rechmann got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alberino Vieitez. Xacintu Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Bruno Antognoni made a huge save. Bruno Antognoni made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Hernando Harroyo sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Atlético Bucaramanga's corner Hernando Harroyo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bruno Antognoni quite easily take care of the ball. Adam Czubski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Antognoni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Björn Tingelholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd match minute, San Felice a Ema U.L. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Guillem to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Xacintu Ribeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Antognoni. That made the score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Tingelholm in the 57th minute of play forced Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper Patrik Øskan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Antognoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xacintu Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper Patrik Øskan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. San Felice a Ema U.L.'s A.J. R. Hansen was substituted for Domenico Nazzari. Atlético Bucaramanga's Jerson Gonzales was substituted for Yulian Tzambov. With a little luck, Atlético Bucaramanga's Patrik Øskan got control of the ball when A.J. R. Hansen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerson Gonzales hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as San Felice a Ema U.L.'s A.J. R. Hansen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrik Øskan. That made the score 2-2 after 87 minutes of play. In the 93rd match minute, Atlético Bucaramanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quico Gómez to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Giovanni Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Øskan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
