Barbaros Bozbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepillo Servin in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oriol Loyola got free with Barbaros Bozbey in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 minutes VERDOLAGA CITY FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Liu Feng Zhen who took care of the corner kick. 21 minutes into the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pepillo Servin came free, but Barbaros Bozbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xande Cavani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Villamarin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to VERDOLAGA CITY FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Oriche Isazi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oriol Loyola in the 29th minute of play forced VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goalkeeper Barbaros Bozbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Villamarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Ecija in the 31st minute of the match. Alfonso Villamarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xande Cavani in the 34th minute of play. A hard shot 36 in the game by Oriol Loyola from a close distance when the talented Barbaros Bozbey managed to make a qualified save. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's players were relieved. Frances Muelas got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Oriol Loyola. Alfonso Villamarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xande Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Oriche Isazi fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VERDOLAGA CITY FC's protests and gave Oriche Isazi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Leones FC booed when VERDOLAGA CITY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oriche Isazi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to VERDOLAGA CITY FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Guaberto Arce hit a great ball. Leones FC's Liu Feng Zhen got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xande Cavani to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Xande Cavani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Villamarin came out of the goal and Xande Cavani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barbaros Bozbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepillo Servin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th of the match, Oriche Isazi tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Alfonso Villamarin got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 57th minute, Frances Muelas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barbaros Bozbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriol Loyola in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casado Arambula to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the game Frances Muelas made a throw-in which Oriol Loyola played forward. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xande Cavani got free with Alfonso Villamarin in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barbaros Bozbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriol Loyola in the 79th minute of play. Xande Cavani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leones FC made a substitution. Aloisio Munet replaced Pepillo Servin. Leones FC's García Galego was substituted for Jeremy Lambarida. After a defensive mix-up in VERDOLAGA CITY FC's zone, Oriol Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barbaros Bozbey came out of the goal and Oriol Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leones FC's Oriol Loyola in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Xande Cavani managed to get in a good position for a shot. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xande Cavani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Villamarin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leones FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
