The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cahya Tomagola was the one to do the kick off. Kjell Trengereid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar De León in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, Atlético Municipal's Oscar De León made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kjell Trengereid was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the match, Atlético Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when José-Francisco Durazno came free, but Chuan Cintron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Atlético Municipal fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Atlético Municipal's Oscar De León looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
