Raven Heart's Ali Behzat İlbilge quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aristides Caldas, made in the 16th minute of the game. Claude Sena made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Raven Heart's Kelemen Reyna. With a little luck, Atlético Municipal's Chuan Cintron got control of the ball when Jesse Vallin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesse Vallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuan Cintron having to interfere. Chuan Cintron made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Jesse Vallin sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar De León in the 28th minute of play forced Raven Heart's goalkeeper Benvido Fuica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benvido Fuica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar De León, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chuan Cintron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesse Vallin in the 37th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesse Vallin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raven Heart's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Willie Colon scored to the left of an out of position Benvido Fuica, making the score, 0-1. Raven Heart's Jorge Comesaña was substituted for Kelemen Reyna. 64 minutes into the game, Pero Barrutia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raven Heart's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Municipal the free kick. Pero Barrutia hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Gau Resto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benvido Fuica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benvido Fuica was a little too slow when Willie Colon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-2. The Atlético Municipal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético Municipal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
