The throw-in from Ken vrolix in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Samurai Champions FC's Faustão Ramalho. In the 38th minute of the match, Peter Santos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lei Bin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reynaldo Froila was slow to take the kick. During this time Samurai Champions FC's players had a chance to rest. Peter Santos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 42 minutes into the game, AFC United's Andries De Putter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio de Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.
