Márcio de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar De León in the 21st minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Samurai Champions FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Toledo. In the 27th minute, Atlético Municipal's Oscar De León dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Samurai Champions FC's Peter Santos got a free kick in the 30th minute. Atlético Municipal's Chuan Cintron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Santos in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Atlético Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andoni Viguri to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Municipal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Peter Santos came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Samurai Champions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Santos couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, D.J. 杨广 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
