Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Isaksson's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Björkman in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. With a little luck, FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, André Nordmark successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 80 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Koby Fletcher. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Koby Fletcher hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute Henrik Löv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Peter Björkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the match, Kevin Fagrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Fagrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Björkman in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Khalid Parry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Sam Campbell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Nordmark. That made the score 3-3 after 93 minutes of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the USA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
