With an all-out effort, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miroslav Klose, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Klose, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Kristopher Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of the match. Miroslav Klose might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 20th minute Miroslav Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristopher Johnson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kristopher Johnson came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play forced QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Kristopher Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Bernardo Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miroslav Klose made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristopher Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristopher Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kristopher Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Kristopher Johnson, making the score, 1-5. Kristopher Johnson made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner.
