Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abram Sarmiento got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Pacorro Aguilar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 11th minute of play. Pascual Carballar charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascual Carballar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. Pacorro Aguilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th play minute Pacorro Aguilar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 1-0. In the 29th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 32nd minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Abram Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pacorro Aguilar. Edwin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. Colombia's Axel Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edwin van der Sar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Abram Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Pacorro Aguilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Pacorro Aguilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pacorro Aguilar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Carballar, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Kevin Mastache hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Santos Sanz was substituted for Refugio Colsa. In the 56th minute, Kevin Mastache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pero Falla struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦. Colombia's Antonio Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Noel Guerrero in the 60 minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pero Falla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Noel Guerrero with Santos Sanz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Edwin van der Sar in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Pero Falla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pero Falla in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Pascual Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Guerrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pero Falla was slow to take the kick. During this time ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s corner Pero Falla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 82nd minute of the match. Santos Sanz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 85th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pero Falla in the 87th minute of play. Kevin Mastache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
